Teenager Coco Gauff has become the youngest player to win a WTA title in 15 years with success from the Linz Open.
The 15-year-old American defeat Jelena Ostapenko 6-3 1-6 6-2 and is projected to move inside the planets top 75.
After dropping in the final round of qualifying, gauff qualified for the draw as a lucky loser.
Its been an incredible week, I hope to return here again. I will remember this moment for the rest of my lifetime, explained Atlanta-born Gauff.
The child, who rose in Wimbledon this year after she beat champion Venus Williams in the first round, emulates Nicole Vadisova, that was 15 when she won her maiden WTA title in 2004 in Tashkent.
Before breaking Ostapenko at the next to take charge of the opening set, gauff held off two break points in her opening service game.
