Kane’s Monday may have ended to a note that was sour, but he added a brand fresh championship to his list of career honours.
Better known these days as Glenn Jacobs, the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, the (nonetheless quite ) Big (but now not really ) Red Machine was only too happy to provide R-Truth a guided tour of the finest Knoxville has to offer.
During a trip to The University of Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium, Jacobs captured his moment – later Truth had run into a goalpost and hauled out himself – to snare the 24/7 winner and bag the name.
Technically, that currently means Kane has included a second entry in to his long list of career accomplishments and has dipped in a match in each year since 1995.
“I got it,” was the roar from the mayor as he exited the scene – though he would only have the’it’ of the name for a few more hours.
Before rolling up him to recapture the buckle and begin his 16th reign truth hid along with the limousine that took Jacobs into Monday Night Raw and slid it off.
