Wednesday’s Best NBA Spread: Bulls vs. Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are a hot NBA choice after launching very ancient as 5.5-point home puppies for Wednesdays matchup with the Chicago Bulls.
Well, this is fresh: Were here at the home office on a historical Tuesday, waiting to pounce on Wednesdays opening NBA odds, and in a strange twist, the fine folks at Pinnacle have beaten everyone to the marketplace — for one game, between the Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors. Theyve got the Warriors pegged as 5.5-point home dogs at –104 juice.
If we bite? There may be a few better NBA choices to make; there are 13 other games on Wednesdays schedule, after all. But initially, obtaining the Dubs at +5.5 (–104) seems too good to pass up. Lets see whether thats the situation and do some research.
The amounts appear to be in our favor. FiveThirtyEight have projected Golden State (3-15 SU, 8-10 ATS) as 1.5-point faves; doing the math together with Jeff Sagarins ratings, we make… lets see, carry the one… Warriors –3.15, with all the Bulls (6-12 SU, 7-11 ATS) ranked worse compared to Golden State on neutral ground.
This could be a harm thing. Draymond Green (sore right heel) did not play Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and remains iffy for Wednesday; Green is the only star player left out of their tournament core. However, Golden State nearly won anyhow, falling 100-97 as 7.5-point home puppies. Theyre 1-7 SU and 5-3 ATS in the games (minus-1.7 OBPM) has walked thus far.
Once youre betting on the NBA bench strength is important. We made a choice two weeks ago where we faded the Toronto Raptors (+3 off ) since OG Anunoby had been hurt, adding to an injury list that previously included Kyle Lowry, Serge Ibaka along with Patrick McCaw. They beat the Portland Trail Blazers 114-106; turns out their remodeled Bench Mob is better than ever before.

The Warriors are quite good in bettering their reservations. Players such as Marquese Chriss (plus-0.9 BPM), Willie Cauley-Stein (plus-0.6 BPM) and Glenn Robinson III (minus-0.6 BPM) might not create any buzz round the water cooler, but they are performing better than anticipated — notably Chriss, who was an epic heartbeat in his first three years as an expert.

That the Bulls do not have the same talent for their talent. Together with that training turnover in the Windy City, it is not surprising that Lauri Markkanen (minus-2.8 BPM) is regressing in his third period. Rookie guard Coby White (minus-4.0 BPM) is amazing, but unsuccessful in the ends of the court. As well as their glue-guy veteran, Otto Porter Jr. (minus-0.6 BPM), is out indefinitely with a sprained left foot. Well fade this for a dollar.
